We boarded a subway deep underground and entered a whole new world when we came back up. It was as if that subterranean tunnel was a time machine. The Old City really carries the essence of what it was a long time ago, and that made everything so unique for me.
Our trip to the Nobel Museum was inspiring; to see all kinds of wonderful people and what they did, it made me want to make some sort of difference for the better of the world. I don't know if everyone else felt the same, but I think it was a great way to push and pick us off our feet and be the best people we can be.
After our trip to the treasury, which deep under the Royal Palace, I really
thought I hadn’t seen enough of the Old City. Everyone else left, and I continued to enjoy the foreign atmosphere because I knew I’ve never seen or felt anything like it. Even on the subway back, I still wanted to go and see everything I missed. This part of the city brought all those words and pictures I researched to life for me, and that's something you just don't get to feel every day.
