Aside from all the unique Swedish stores we shopped in, another thing that was super cool was shopping in Centralen's H&M. Only some know that H&M stands for Hennes and Mauritz and is a Swedish clothing brand. It was founded in Västerås, Sweden in 1947 and has become a huge part of the Swedish fashion scene, and part of the culture too. Sure, we have many H&Ms in Seattle, but there is something amazing about shopping in the city where the store is from - it's kind of like playing a tune in the place where that tune is from. All five of the girls who went shopping bought something adorable at H&M! Although we only had a couple of hours to shop, we still had an amazing time. We hope to come back to Centralen to shop again someday!
